A Signature Project of the Pittsburgh Pro Bono Partnership
Provides attorneys to serve as “best interests” attorneys advocating for the best interests of at-risk children in high-conflict custody cases. Staffed by attorneys from Dickie McCamey, LLP and other Partnership firms.
|Public Contact:||Where it seems appropriate that the best interests of an at-risk child (or children) would be best served by the appointment of a best interests attorney in a high-conflict custody case, parties should present a motion to their assigned judges requesting the appointment of a best interests attorney through the Best Interests Attorney Project.|
|Practice Areas:||Child Custody|
|Type of service:||Volunteer attorneys serve as best interests attorneys advocating for the best interests of at-risk children in high-conflict custody cases.|
The project is managed by Dickie McCamey. Interested attorneys from these participating Partnership firms should contact their respective pro bono coordinators or managing partners for more information.
