Financial Literacy Project

A Signature Project of the Pittsburgh Pro Bono Partnership
Offers financial literacy training to organizations that serve individuals with very low incomes.

Practice Areas: Any practice area welcome, programs focus is on financial and legal literacy, understanding credit cards and reporting and sound financial practices.

Type of Service: Type of Service – We provide informational presentations to groups and organizations on various financial and legal literacy topics, coupled with individual client–counseling sessions.

Current Needs: We welcome any additional volunteers, as well as references to organizations that may be interested in scheduling financial literacy presentations for the benefit of their constituents.

Time Required: The presentations/counseling sessions will be 2–3 hours depending on the topic and size of the audience. There also will be some advance preparation time with the materials.

Training: Training is available via video recording of the live training held early in 2016.
