LawLinks

A Member Organization of the Pro Bono Center
LawLinks is a Program of the Bayer Center for Nonprofit Management at Robert Morris University. LawLinks provides education and referrals for short two-hour consultations or referrals for pro-bono or low-cost legal services. The Bayer Center provides management education, consultation, research and advice to nonprofit organizations.

Public Information:        

Meet with an attorney in a two-hour clinic to discuss a specific issue at a very affordable price, or engage an attorney at a reduced or pro bono rate for more complicated legal matters.

Client eligibility: Smaller nonprofit organizations.
Practice Areas: Nonprofit Corporations
Type of service: Provides legal services, education, and advice to small, grassroots, nonprofit organizations. 
Current needs: Attorneys with experience or interest in nonprofits. Questions most frequently revolve around human resources, real estate, taxation, tax-exempt status, bylaws and document review.
Time commitment/required times of availability: Flexible, depending on attorney availability.
Training: None offered presently.
