Christian Legal Aid of Pittsburgh (“CLA”) operates free legal clinics at local churches where volunteers provide legal counsel, guidance, and prayer regarding civil legal matters to those whose income is at or below 250% of the federal poverty guidelines.

Client eligibility: | Christian Legal Aid offers legal advice in Civil and Family matters for low-income persons. Individuals must have income that is at or below 250% of the federal poverty guidelines before taxes. |

Type of service: | Volunteers provide legal counsel, guidance, and prayer regarding civil legal matters to those whose income is at or below 250% of the federal poverty guidelines. |
Current needs: | All: May serve as little or as often as desired. Must be willing to sign Statement of Faith and pray with clients. Must be willing to assist clients with a loving, Christ-like attitude. |
Training: | Informal training for new volunteers, with a possibility of school credit for Duquesne and Pitt students participating in the CLA externship. |
