Pro Bono Week is an opportunity to thank volunteers, recognize the life-changing work that pro bono attorneys perform on behalf of clients with low incomes and recruit and train additional volunteers. This clinic is a project of the University of Pittsburgh Black Law Students Association in partnership with the ACBA Homer S. Brown Division and the Pro Bono Center of the Allegheny County Bar Foundation. It is named in honor of Derrick A. Bell, a Pittsburgh native and graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
